Equivalences

There is no exact equivalence between the Canadian education system and the systems in most emerging countries. However, there is a case-by-case evaluation system in place. The basic structure of the Canadian education system is generally composed of three tiers: elementary schools, secondary schools and post-secondary schools.  International students applying to a Canadian school have to submit their academic diplomas and transcripts. In some cases, admission services may ask for their résumé.
